Shopping in Dover is easy and relaxed with the main shopping area
being on the level and part pedestrianised. Many of the larger national
outlets are represented and a wide diversity of smaller shops offer
everything from art, crafts and quality gifts to books, marine supplies
and musical instruments – all are interspersed with cafes and tea rooms
making shopping in Dover a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Dover town centre shops generally open 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Saturday.
Marks & Spencer opens at 8.30 on Friday & Saturday. The town centre
supermarket is open on Sundays 10 am to 4 pm and De Bradelei Wharf &
Woolworths also open on Sundays.
Safe Hands Mobility is located in Biggin Street - telephone 01304 214000

Shoppers would do well to explore further up the High Street, past the
historic Maison Dieu Town Hall, where Dover's shops stretch for over 1
mile. Rest a while for refreshments at the Charlton Centre, Dover's only
purpose built shopping centre and then venture further up London Road
where you will discover many individual shops selling collectables and
other specialist items.
