Entertainment in Dover, Deal, Sandwich and the surrounding villages and countryside of White Cliffs Country

Amateur Theatre takes place at the Town hall, Schools, Gardens, and Village Halls throughout the south east corner of Kent.

During recent years Goodnestone Park Gardens has been the setting for a number of spectacular events, including fireworks in aid of charity, opera, and various concerts – classical, jazz and rock. A taste of forthcoming events:

11th June - 'Sounds in the Grounds' return of a hugely popular concert - Hullaballoo, Rubber Biscuit and other performers.
21st July - Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare – Chapter House Theatre.
28th - 30th July - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - Presented by the English Speaking Union.

There are also events held at Dover Castle, the Dover Regatta, Dover Pageant and Dover Carnival.

The major event for this year will be the installation of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports.
